It is just the responsible thing to do.
We at Kyocera believe that it is not enough to create high quality products with the most cutting-edge technology for our customers if we don't do our part to be responsible and make a respectful use of the very resources that make what we do possible.
There is an increasing awareness, worldwide, about the importance to lower the impact on the environment by working smarter and cleaner.
Kyocera’s ECO footPRINT™ Toner Recycling Program offers a way to do just that.
The way it works is easy. Customers can request recycling boxes from their authorized Kyocera dealer. Fill the boxes with depleted and waste Kyocera toner containers, seal and send to our recycling facility partner, Close the Loop, one of the world's largest take-back providers of ink and toner cartridges, which helps us in our sustainability efforts.
It is important to remember that there are no shipping or recycling costs to our customers. It’s our way of expressing our gratitude to you for helping us in our commitment to working in harmony with our environment.
All Kyocera toner containers recycled through the program are transformed into useful objects that help cover a need. Our partners at the Close the Loop recycling facility are able to repurpose the materials into items like park benches, pens and even asphalt.
We sincerely appreciate your interest in supporting one of Kyocera’s core principles of working respectfully with the environment we all share. If you’re a Kyocera customer interested in joining the ECO footPRINT Toner Recycling Program, contact your authorized dealer. They’ll take care of ordering boxes for you, setting them up, and even tracking your recycling progress.
As a company that works to find the most innovative ways to integrate premium technology into the best natural resources, we believe that trying to do our best for the environment should not be an option, but a personal and social responsibility.
Thank you for joining us in our efforts to keep the world a more eco-friendly place. Let's do it together.
